“Machete” Starts Production In 5 Weeks

Danny Trejo, everyone’s favorite Mexican bad ass, has let it be known that his film “Machete” will start filming in five weeks with Robert Rodriguez at the helm.  If you recall, “Machete” was one of the fake trailers from the Rodriguez/Tarantino double team of awesome that was Grindhouse.  In the fake trailer, Danny Trejo’s character is an assassin who is double crossed and then goes on a killing spree against corrupt businessman/crime boss Jeff Fahey with his signature weapons and Cheech Marin’s shotgun packing priest along for the ride.  It’s unclear whether this will be the plot of the movie but whatever it is, it will probably be awesome.
