That’s called a Montage!

College Humor animator extraordinaire Mike Parker featured this 80’s montage gem on his blog today. It’s from the lost Van Damme classic “No Retreat, No Surrender” in which a nerdy kid who idolizes Bruce Lee must learn to fight to defend his neighborhood from an evil crime boss and his enforcer Ivan, played by Van Damme. Yes, that’s right, Van Damme is a bad guy. The montage has everything you want including; outrunning your friend on a bike, using everyday objects to train, and improving with each shot. I definitely need to see this whole movie:
