A couple months ago we reported on the casting news for the upcoming Red Dawn remake, well today more news came out about the cast. Entertainment Weekly has details about four more cast members joining the movie.

Taking over for C. Thomas Howell’s Robert is Josh Hutcherson who you probably most recently saw in Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. Isabel Lucas will take over for Lea Thompson’s Erica and she was most recently seen as the Terminatrix-lite in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. For Danny, the youngest member of the Wolverines in the original, will be played by Edwin Hodge, who’s appeared in the show Mental, as well as in Invasion and Jack and Bobby. In the remake, Danny is the star wide reciever of the school football team and helps form the resistance with Matt and Jed. Finally the kind of weaselly son of the Mayor, Daryl, will be played by Tom Cruise’s son Connor. This will be his first major role but he had a small part in Seven Pounds.
