The Tournament Trailer

This week a trailer came out for what looks like might be a fun and crazy new action movie called “The Tournament”.  Starring Ving Rhames, Kelly Hu and Robert Carlyle, the plot is that every seven years the world’s greatest assassins come to a small town to compete in a winner take all tournament.  Each assassin has a tracking device that lets the others know where he is but also lets him know where the others are.  Robert Carlyle plays the town’s priest who accidentally ingests one of the tracking devices and has to team up with Kelly Hu’s character to survive.  It seems sort of like Battle Royale meets Smoking Aces with a dash of Death Race or The Running Man.  See what you think of the trailer below:
