The Saints are back and this time they’re actually going to be in theaters. I like the first movie but the real fans of it are fanatical beyond all reason and are foaming at the mouth for this one to come out. The Saints are a pair of Irish brothers, Connor and Murphy MacManus, who, in the first film, waged a vigilante war against the criminals and lowlifes of Boston. In the sequel the boys have returned to their native Ireland but have to return to Boston when they are accused of killing a priest. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus are back as the brothers and Billy Connelly is also back as the original Saint, Il Duce. Sadly Willem Dafoe wasn’t able to return so we won’t be hearing about any more “Firefights!” Check out the trailer below and see what you think.
