If there was a list of people to trust to save humanity after an apocalypse, Denzel Washington would definitely be on it. It looks like he’s going to get his chance in the apocalyptic action/western The Book of Eli. Washington plays Eli who is in possession of an extremely important book and some sweet martial arts and sword skills. Unfortunately for Eli it looks like he wandered into the wrong town as it’s run by the slimy Carnegie (Gary Oldman). This is looking pretty bad ass and I’m always on board for Denzel wrecking heads.
