I case you don’t remember, back in 2008 Universal Studios Hollywood had a massive fire on their backlot and one of the casualties was the classic King Kong tram ride. Universal recently announced that they’re bringing the ride back, updated with help from Peter Jackson. Based on Jackson’s take on the big ape, the ride will find tram passengers heading to Skull Island thanks to state of the art 3D and, after getting attacked by giant bats, will end up caught in a battle between Kong and T-Rex. The ride is supposed to be unveiled sometime this summer and a teaser video was released, which you can check out below.
