So a bunch of trailers came out near the end of last week and instead of doing a bunch of individual posts, I thought we’d do an old school Trailer Park post with a bunch of them.
First up is the new Dinner for Schmucks trailer. I’m still on the fence about this one. It has a great cast but nothing from the trailer was especially hilarious. Paul Rudd has been on fire lately and Steve Carell can pretty much save anything so I’m hoping it’s going to be good.
Next is the trailer for Jack Black’s upcoming remake of Gulliver’s Travels. Black plays Gulliver who heads to the Bermuda Triangle to write a story about it but winds up in a storm and washes ashore on the island of Lilliput where the natives are all tiny. It seems like someone decided to make a whole movie based on the part from Night at the Museum with the miniature exhibits. Didn’t know this movie even existed until this week and I kind of wish I hadn’t.
Next is the promo for the only “exciting” thing CBS has done in a while, the reboot of Hawaii 5-0.
And last, but definitely not least, is the trailer for Norwegian Ninja. Kind of, sort of, based on Norwegian diplomat Arne Trehold, who was accused of being a Soviet spy during the cold war, in the movie Trehold is the leader of Norway’s secret ninja force. The trailer has a very grindhouse feel and it’s from the producers of “that Nazi zombie movie” Dead Snow.
