2010 is definitely the year of action teams and along with The Losers, The A-Team and The Expendables we now have Red, based on the comic mini series by Warren Ellis. Bruce Willis stars as a retired CIA assassin who comes out of retirement when the CIA sends a hit squad after him. While The Expendables features all your favorite action stars, Red features all your favorite Oscar winners and nominees like John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. I think this might be worth it just for the novelty of seeing Helen Mirren kicking ass and it looks like Bruce Willis is back to his ass kicking self after his tranquilized performance in Surrogates.
