With the success of The Walking Dead, there’s sure to be a slew of serious genre shows coming out and one of the first coming out this summer is Falling Skies, from Dreamworks and Steven Spielberg and coming to TNT. Noah Wyle stars as a college professor who has to lead a group of survivors after a massive alien attack leaves Earth devastated. Even though Spielberg is involved, I get a kind of Asylum vibe from the whole thing, like C. Thomas Howell is going to show up at any moment. I’m also not very excited because Spielberg hasn’t had a very good track record with alien TV shows, anyone remember Taken or The 4400? Check out the trailer below and decide for yourself and the show debuts this summer.
