Cartoon Network released a promo trailer for their foray into 80′s remakes with the re-imagining of Thundercats. Still featuring Lion-o and company (minus Panthro), the new show has a more Conan the Barbarian vibe and Lion-O is younger than his 80′s counterpart. It looks like the Thundercats will have to deal with the outside threat of Mumm-Ra (although he doesn’t show up in the trailer) as well as dissenters in their midst. I’m not too interested but I’ll probably check out at least the first episode to see what it’s like. Check out the trailer below.
