It’s been a while since we saw the original teaser trailer for Real Steel, but now we have the full trailer and I’m pretty excited at the wonderfully ridiculous possibilities this movie could bring. Hugh Jackman stars as a former boxer who get relegated to trainer/controller(?) of robotic boxers. When his son comes back into his life, Charlie (Jackman) helps him train a robot they find the junkyard and get a shot at the championship. I love how this trailer is edited so it looks like The Fighter or a Rocky movie but then a robot with a mohawk gets it’s head knocked off. I also love that there seems to be an evil, Ivan Dragoesque robot that will no doubt be in the championship against Hugh Jackman’s scrappy robot. The movie is out this October and you can check out the trailer below.
