CBS’ offerings for this coming fall aren’t particularly interesting with the one stand out being Person of Interest, starring Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson and executive produced by JJ Abrams and Jonathan Nolan (who also wrote it). The show will follow Caviezel as Reese, a former government agent, who is recruited by mysterious software billionaire Mr. Finch (Emerson) to help him prevent crimes from happening. To do this, Finch has created a piece of software that analyzes security footage from around the globe and can make predictions based on the analysis of what people seem to be threats. It seems like a cross between Human Target and Minority Report and looks like it could be good.
