Killer Elite Trailer

In News Shotgun a few weeks ago, we reported about an upcoming action movie starring Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert DeNiro called Killer Elite. Now this week, we have a trailer and, goddamn, does it look awesome.  The movie is, probably extremely loosely, based on a true story and finds Statham, an ex Special Force soldier, coming to the rescue of his mentor (De Niro), who has been kidnapped by a team of assassins, led by Clive Owen.  The trailer is basically non stop action and it looks like there’s going to be at least one brutal looking fight between Owen and Statham.  Possibly the most awesome thing in the trailer though might be Clive Owen’s sweet ‘stache.  This is the director’s first full length movie, he previously directed the Oscar Nominated short film “Everything in This Country Must”.  You have to check out the trailer below.
