Jeremy Renner is quickly becoming a Jason Statham level action hero, between possibly taking over the Mission: Impossible franchise, playing Hawkeye in The Avengers and now taking over the Bourne series from Matt Damon. Renner stars as another secret agent, Aaron Cross, who becomes caught up in the fallout following the events of The Bourne Ultimatum. Ed Norton, Rachel Weisz co-star and Joan Allen, David Straithairn, Albert Finney and Scott Glenn will all reprise their roles from the original trilogy and Tony Gilroy directing, after writing all three of the previous movies. The movie looks pretty bad ass and I like that Jeremy Renner is apparently Bourne 2.0, as they imply in the trailer that his training was different and more intense than Jason Bourne’s. The movie will be out this August and you can check out the trailer below.
