Even though it was basically unopposed last night at the Oscars (who honestly remembers Rio came out last year, let alone what songs were in it?), it’s still great that The Muppets won the Best Original Song for “Man or Muppet”, written by Flight of the Conchords’ Bret McKenzie. Man or Muppet is the big, revelatory song where brothers Walter and Gary must decide what direction their life is going to go in from that point on. It features some celebrity cameos as the Muppet version of Jason Segel and the human version of Walter and it’s a great lead in to the dramatic conclusion of the movie. It’s also as hilarious and self aware as the rest of the movie. Check it out below.
