Dolph Lundgren and Cuba Gooding Jr. are rival assassins in the upcoming, One in the Chamber. In classic action movie fashion, Gooding Jr. is an assassin hired by the mob to eliminate their competition but one of his targets gets away, putting Cuba at the top of the mob’s hit list and causes them to hire fellow assassin, Lundgren, to hunt him down. Lundgren’s frequent co-star, JCVD, actually starred in a similar movie, Assassination Games, last year and it was our Direct to DVD Award Powered by Steven Seagal Lightning Energy winner, so the bar is set pretty high but Dolph’s direct to DVD efforts are usually fun B action flicks and are great compared to the efforts of say, Steven Seagal. Since it’s Dolph, I’ll probably check it out when it comes out in August on DVD and Blu Ray and you can check out the trailer below.
