Maybe trying to distract attention away from the divorce of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, the trailer for Cruise’s next movie came out, Jack Reacher. Based on the popular crime series from Lee Childs, Jack Reacher is a former military/current private investigator who is requested by the suspect in a vicious series of sniper killings to find out who actually committed the murders, as he claims he’s innocent. Apparently the best way to solve the case is for Reacher to crack skulls and drive his muscle car. It definitely feels like Drive, if Drive had a slightly higher budget, but apparently the original book had barely any driving in it and Reacher was much more physically imposing, no offense to Cruise. You can check out the trailer below and the movie is out in December.
