Silent Hill is generally considered one of the better movies based on video games, which isn’t saying much but the movie managed to capture the look and feel of the games and be a pretty creepy horror movie. Now, coming this October, is Silent Hill: Revelation 3D where Heather (Adelaide Clemmons), the daughter of Rose (Radha Mitchell), the heroine of the first film, is drawn into the world of Silent Hill when her father, Chris (Sean Bean) is kidnapped. In the games, Heather was the heroine of Silent Hill 3 but I haven’t really played any of them enough to know if Revelation looks like it’s based on any particular game. I do know that creepy villain Pyramid Head seems to be the main villain of Revelation and the Nurses are back as well. Check out the trailer below and the movie is out just in time for Halloween on October 26th.
