Our patron saint is back in a bigger role in The Expendables 2 but Arnold’s first starring role back on the big screen is in next year’s The Last Stand, directed by Korean director Kim Jee-Woon, who directed I Saw the Devil and The Good, The Bad and The Weird. Arnold plays a small town sheriff who finds out from the feds that a dangerous drug lord is a leading an unstoppable convoy toward his town trying to escape to Mexico. Johnny Knoxville, Jaime Alexander and Luis Guzman co-star as Arnold’s backup and Eduardo Noriega is the drug lord, with Peter Stormare as his enforcer. It looks like a fun, solid return for Arnold and you can check out the trailer below.
