All the burning and unanswered questions of the original A Christmas Story will finally be answered on October 25th when A Christmas Story 2 “The Official Sequel” is released. Seriously though, this movie looks like an absolute abomination, even if it wasn’t a shameless cash in on a classic holiday movie. The movie jumps forward a few years from the original and finds Ralphie as a teenager, angling for a car this Christmas and working tons of menial holiday jobs to make enough money to buy one. Daniel Stern is pretty much the only known actor in the movie, playing the Old Man in a pale imitation of the late, great Darren McGavin. Everything is also just an incredibly lame rehash of jokes from the first movie. Check out the trailer, if you dare, below.
