  • Another “Female Expendables” on the way: This time it’s coming from the actual studio behind The Expendables, Millenium.  It’s working title right now is ExpendaBelles and is being written the writers of Legally Blonde and may be a direct spin-off of The Expendables.
  • Rocky vs Raging Bull boxing match coming soon:   Sly Stallone and Robert De Niro will be starring in a boxing movie called Grudge Match, directed by Peter Segal.  The movie follows two former boxers who agree to a comeback match.
  • Redbox’s most popular rentals:  America loves mediocre comedy as the top three movies are Grown Ups, Bad Teacher and Just Go With It.
  • Mockingbird Lane airing as Halloween special: NBC ordered a reboot of The Munsters, created by Bryan Fuller of Pushing Daisies, starring Jerry O’Connell, Portia Di Rossi and Eddie Izzard but NBC didn’t pick the show up as a series after viewing the pilot.  Now it seems that, since they paid for it, they are going to reedit and air it as a TV movie/Halloween special later this month.
  • Hulk Hogan wants to be in Expendables 3:  I second that emotion.
  • Ben Affleck directing “Live by Night” adaptation: The movie is based on a book by Dennis Lehane, who also wrote Gone Baby Gone and is set in prohibition America where a police officer’s son lives a life of crime running booze.
  • Shailene Woodley in talks to play MJ in Amazing Spider-Man 2: Woodley was most recently seen last year in The Descendants as George Clooney’s oldest daughter.  There are also rumors that Electro could be the villain.
  • Community and Louie delayed: Community was supposed to debut next Friday but is now it is unclear when the fourth season will premiere.  Louie, meanwhile, was put on hold by it’s creator, Louis CK, in order for him to recharge his creative juices.  The show will be back in 2014.
  • Monsters University viral site launched: It’s better than most actual college websites.
  • Writer of Bloodsport remake says JCVD would not fix: There’s a remake of Bloodsport being written currently and the writer, Robert Mark Kamen, says that it is only a remake in title only, there is no Kumite, the main characters is not Frank Dux and it’s politcally motivated, character driven drama.  Including JCVD, in any capacity, would not make sense, according to him.
