Musical Montage: Peggy Abernathy “Back to the Shadows”

Our commentary for this 80’s ninja classic will be going up tomorrow but you can get ready by checking out the theme song for Pray for Death, “Back to the Shadows” by Peggy Abernathy.  The song is featured twice in the movie, first during the opening credits where Sho Kosugi is doing everything you would imagine ninjas do, using swords and nunchucks and performing various kicks and punches.  The second time is during the climactic “gearing up” montage when Kosugi is preparing to fully unleash his ninja skills against the villains.  The song is great 80’s cheese and you can check it out below.
