New Season of ‘Arrested Development’ Official Netflix Premiere Date Announced

I’m afraid that I just blue myself.

The official premiere date for the highly-anticipated new season of Arrested Development was revealed via Entertainment Weekly this morning, to the delight of eager fans.

The beloved comedy will be making its triumphant return via Netflix on May 26, with 15 episodes available for streaming that day. This is great news considering that at first it was believed to be only a 10-episode season. The more we can see of the Bluth family, the better. Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to see what they’ve been up to.

The format is said to be in the tried and true episodic formula of the original run, with each episode focusing on one Bluth’s exploits over the last few years. Obviously, other key members of the family will be popping up in each other’s episodes, as well as some pretty great cameos, including the Workaholics dudes and everyone’s favorite fire-head, Conan O’Brien.

Personally, I am hoping for Carl Weathers to return as well.

Are you as excited for Arrested Development to return as we are? What’s your favorite Bluth family moment? Let us know in the comments!
