Musical Montage: The Mask

There are some movie soundtracks the firmly cement them in the time period they came out and The Mask is definitely one of those.  Coming out at the peak of the mid 90’s swing/big band revival with bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Brian Setzer Orchestra, most of the action of The Mask takes place at the Coco Bongo nightclub (where the house band is apparently Royal Crown Revue) and even the orchestral score is swing sounding.  Check out the two biggest musical moments of the movie below.
