First Photos from Birdman Have Arrived!

The first photos from the set of the upcoming dark comedy Birdman have surfaced online via the good folks at Coming Soon (the entire gallery can be seen here).

The photos show off the titular hero in all of his feathered glory, though I’m not entirely sure if it’s actually Mr. Keaton under the mask or not. The piercing eyes behind the mask are certainly familiar though!

 

If you haven’t heard, as per the press release, “Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance is a black comedy that tells the story of an actor (Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play.  In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.”

The film, starring Michael Keaton, Lindsay Duncan, Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone, and Naomi Watts, will hit theaters later in 2014.
