With a massive bump from The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier experienced an over 50% increase from the first Cap movie and crushed the box office with $96.2 million and $207 million worldwide.  Iron Man is still the highest grossing individual Marvel hero but Cap a close second.

Noah could not withstand the power of Captain America and fell over 60% from last weekend, dropping to second with $17 million.  It’s made $72.3 million so far but it will be close now to see if it will cross $100 million.

Divergent took third place with $13 million and has made over $114 million total in it’s three weeks out.

God’s Not Dead and The Grand Budapest Hotel rounded out the top 5.

Sabotage continues to bomb further down the rankings, going from seventh to eighth in it’s second week and only making another $1.9 million, translating to less than $1,000 a theater.

Cap will most likely stay at the top of the charts for the next few weeks although Rio 2 should draw families this coming weekend.
