  • Lou Ferigno says new Hulk could come after Age of Ultron: Ferigno, who obviously was the live action Hulk and has voiced him in both Incredible Hulk and Avengers, and will be voicing him in Age of Ultron, said that a solo Hulk movie will come after Avengers 2 but there’s no confirmation from Kevin Feige or Marvel.  It would be part of Phase 3, which may include Dr. Strange and Black Panther.
  • New Terminator: Genesis cast members: Matt Smith, the most recent Doctor on Doctor Who joins the cast in an unknown role and Aaron Williamson, a bodybuilder and trainer, will play a younger version of the T-800 Terminator.
  • David Goyer writing treatment for Fantastic Voyage remake: James Cameron is working on a remake of Fantastic Voyage, the classic 60’s movie about scientists shrinking down and entering a man’s body to save his life, and now David Goyer has been brought in to write a treatment for the film.  Shawn Levy was originally signed on to direct but dropped out.
  • Halloween returning in 3D: Michael Myers may return courtesy of the Weinstein Company in a new movie that will be 3D.  A new Halloween was talked about a few years ago but went on the back burner.
  • VHS 3 coming, directors announced: The next entry in the found footage anthology series will be called VHS Viral and some of the directors making segments will be Nacho Vigalondo, Todd Lincoln, Marcel Sarmiento, Gregg Bishop, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead.
  • Joe Carnahan making Narc show: Joe Carnahan is adapting his movie Narc into a television series and said he was inspired by the recent, brilliant, True Detective and he may write and direct all the episodes of this new show, which is aimed at being 1o episodes.
  • London Has Fallen gets release date: The movie will hit on October 2, 2015
  • Tim Blake Nelson in talks for Fantastic Four:   He’ll probably never get to the be The Leader as teased in Incredible Hulk but Tim Blake Nelson may be jumping to another Marvel movie, as he’s in talks to play Harvey Elder, the man who would eventually become OG Fantastic Four villain Mole Man.
  • Sharknado 3 announced:   Sharknado 2: The Second One is hitting SyFy this summer and another entry has already been announced for Summer 2015.  New York City will get sharks rained down on it in Sharknado 2 but no word on who will star and what city will suffer in Sharknado 3.
  • Disney Infinity getting Marvel this Fall: Disney’s toy/video game Infinity will be getting Marvel Superheroes this fall.  A starter kit of Iron Man, Black Widow and Thor along with the portal that brings the characters into the game will be available along with individual figures.
  • RIP Bob Hoskins: Legendary actor Bob Hoskins died on Tuesday this past week at age 71 due to complications from pneumonia.  Hoskins retired a few years ago because of Parkinson’s Disease.  He’s obviously best known for Who Framed Roger Rabbit? but was also in movies like Super Mario Bros, Hook, Doomsday, Enemy at the Gates, Unleashed and much more.
  • Almost Human cancelled: The first major cancellation in the world of TV was revealed this week as the Fox sci fi show, starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, was cancelled after a 13 episode first season.
  • Maya Rudolph and Jamie Chung join Big Hero 6: The Disney Animation Marvel movie has TJ Miller cast and added fellow comedic actors Maya Rudolph and Jamie Chung to the voice cast.  Chung will play Go Go Tomago, a fiery bike messenger who can turn herself into a ball of energy and Rudolph may play Honey Lemon, a barista with a magical purse from which anything can be pulled.
  • Daredevil is confirmed in the MCU: The upcoming Marvel Netflix Original is officially confirmed to be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and could potentially interact with the movies and Agents of SHIELD or at least see events from those effecting things on Daredevil and the other Netflix shows.
  • Kevin Smith’s Krampus Anthology movie gets cast and new title: The holiday horror anthology is now called Anti-Claus and will feature Kevin Smith starring along with Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Parks.
  • Zack Snyder directing Justice League: Snyder will direct the team up after Batman vs Superman and may hit in 2017 or 2018.  We’ll probably get more at Comic Con this year.
