Fall TV 2014: NBC

NBC_logo-1024x602

NBC’s highest profile new show is their entry in the DC Comics takeover of TV, Constantine, and they are relying on returning shows like The Blacklist, Grimm, Hannibal, Parks and Rec and The Voice.  As far as new shows go, the Peacock seems to be doubling down on comedies after cancelling pretty much all of them besides About a Boy and Parks and Rec, which is ending next season, so they are probably desperate for something to fill the gaps.  Check out the trailers for the new shows below.

State of Affairs

Starring: Katherine Heigl, Sheila Vand, Adam Kaufman, Alfre Woodard, Cliff Chamberlain, Leslie Odom Jr.

Premise: Centers on a key CIA attaché who counsels the president on high-stakes incidents around the world. She balances her intense political responsibilities with a complicated personal life.

Marry Me

Starring: Casey Wilson, Ken Marino, John Gemberling, Tim Meadows, Tymberlee Hill

Premise: A young couple gets engaged — and they quickly realize it’s harder than it looks.

Bad Judge

Starring: Kate Walsh, John Ducey, Mather Zickel, Arden Myrin, Tone Bell, Theodore Barnes, Miguel Sandoval

Premise: It centers on a hard-living, sexually unapologetic woman who plays with the law and whose life on the edge is constantly in balance because she also happens to be a judge in the criminal court system

The Mysteries of Laura

Starring: Debra Messing, Laz Alonso, Josh Lucas

Premise: Based on the popular Spanish series Los Misterios De Laura follows the life and relationships of a female homicide detective who can handle murderous criminals — but not her evil twins.

A To Z

Starring: Cristin Milioti, Ben Feldman, Henry Zebrowski, Leonora Crichlow, Christina Kirk
