Into the Badlands Trailer

One of the new AMC shows debuting this fall is their martial arts/western take on the classic Chinese epic, Journey to the West, with Into the Badlands.  Starring Chinese martial artist and Jackie Chan protege Daniel Wu as Sunny, a “Clipper” in the strange world of the show who enforces the will of the wealthy Barons but Sunny seemingly starts to see the evil and injustice of the Baron he works for and strikes out on his own.  The world seems interesting but it seems like the main draw for this show will be the fight scenes, which look amazing thanks to Daniel Wu’s actual fighting skills and the blend of genres.  The show debuts in November and you can check out the trailer below.
