Westworld Teaser

During the Season 2 finale of True Detective, HBO showed the first footage of their remake of Westworld, coming next year.  The original Westworld came out in 1973 with author Michael Crichton making his film directing debut and setting the stage for Jurassic Park, as it features a theme park that goes awry, with a killer gunslinger robot instead of dinosaurs. The new Westworld has an all star cast with Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright and James Marsden as the main cast and JJ Abrams and Jonathan Nolan are producing.  This is only a brief teaser but it seems like they are going in a much darker direction with the robotic actors who populate the park and it’s a much larger environment than the original’s Disneyesque lands.  Check out the teaser below.
