Shane Black is Back with The Nice Guys (Red Band Trailer)

After a detour into the MCU with Iron Man 3, Shane Black is returning to his bread and butter for a 70’s “buddy cop” mystery, The Nice Guys.  Ryan Gosling is a private investigator and Russell Crowe is a “fixer” for anyone who pays and they are forced to team up when Kim Bassinger hires Crowe to find her missing daughter.  As the duo reluctantly works together, they unravel a conspiracy that involves the mob and their expansion into Los Angeles.  It looks fantastic with lots of great banter and some crazy violence, just like the almost wrapped up season 2 of Fargo.  The movie is out in May next year and you can check out the trailer below (it’s a Red Band trailer so probably NSFW).
