Musical Montage: Michael Jackson “Remember the Time”

Coming off the Dangerous album as the second single, Remember the Time is another MJ song that received basically a mini-movie for it’s music video.  Directed by Boyz in the Hood’s John Singleton, the music video co-stars Eddie Murphy, Iman, Tommy “Tiny” Lister and Magic Johnson for an epic set in Egyptian times.  Murphy is the Pharaoh and Iman is the Queen and they are unimpressed by the various entertainers brought before them until Michael arrives as sorcerer and displays shape shifting abilities similar to the T-1000 along with his singing and dancing skills.  However, he has a history with the Queen and must flee from the palace guards.  The song hit number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hit number 1 on the R&B and Hot Dance Music charts.  Check out the entire epic below.
