Stay Out of “The Woods” This September (Trailer)

Director Adam Wingard has been subverting and mashing up genres in his movies You’re Next and The Guest but his next movie looks like straight up grim, terrifying horror with The Woods.  Being called one of “the scariest films ever made”, the movie has the typical horror setup of a bunch of friends heading out into the woods and horrible things happening.  I can’t quite tell if this is found footage or not and there’s not a lot of other details revealed in the trailer either but Wingard’s previous two movies were amazing, so I’m on board for whatever he’s doing next, which is the pilot for Outcast, Death Note and this.  Check out the trailer below and see for yourself if this is the scariest movie you’ve ever seen on September 16th.
