The Legends of the Hidden Temple Trailer

Although most of us 90’s kids would want a full on reboot of the classic Nick game show, we’ll take any Olmec we can get these days and coming this fall to Nickelodeon there will be a TV movie based on the show.  Following three kids who are visiting “Hidden Temple Park” (with a cheesy Kirk Fogg MC’ing things) they discover that there really is a Hidden Temple and have to brave all the traps, puzzles and temple guards to get out.  There are some decent references to the game show, like the fact that one of the kids is wearing a Green Monkeys shirt and the fact that the Shrine of the Silver Monkey was always impossible to build but we don’t get to hear Olmec talk at all and it looks like it will mainly appeal to kids who watch whatever live action shows are on Nick now, despite the fact that none of them know what Legends of the Hidden Temple is.  We’ll have to see in the fall but you can check out the trailer below.
