Despite the fact that it seems like he hates it, Bruce Willis has been appearing for the last few years in lower budget action movies that are perfectly made to be in Redboxes and Netflix queues and his latest one coming next year is Acts of Violence. Willis is Detective James Avery, who works with a trio of military trained brothers, including Cole Hauser’s Deklan MacGregor and Shawn Ashmore’s Brandon, to rescue their brother’s fiancee from a human trafficker played by Mike Epps(?). If you’ve seen recent Bruce Willis movies like Extraction, Precious Cargo, Marauders, etc, this seems about in line with those and Willis doesn’t seem either aggressively bored but also not particularly engaged, so this could really go either way. It will be out in limited theaters and On Demand on January 12th and you can check out the trailer below.
