Michael Myers Returns for a New Halloween (Trailer)

One of the most iconic horror villains ever returns this October courtesy of Blumhouse.  With John Carpenter on as an executive producer, director David Gordon Green, who previously brought us greatness like Vice Principals and Eastbound and Down, teamed up with Danny McBride to write a new chapter of the Halloween saga that retcons everything but the original film and pits Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) against Michael Myers for a final confrontation four decades after their last encounter.  Michael (Nick Castle) is locked away at a maximum security prison but, while being transferred, the bus crashes and Michael returns home, threatening Laurie and her family, including her daughter Karen (Judy Greer).  Will Patton, Toby Huss, Miles Robbins, Jefferson Hall and Andi Matichak co-star and it will hopefully be a true return to form for the legendary series after the mixed results of the Rob Zombie duology.  The movie is out on October 19th, just in time for it’s titular holiday, and you can check out the long awaited first trailer below.
