EA Commentary: Halloween (1978)

To celebrate the release of the new sequel and the titular holiday its set during, Zach and Chris watched the original Halloween for the latest Everything Action commentary.  The original John Carpenter classic finds Michael Myers murdering his sister when he’s six and then, 15 years later, he breaks out of the mental hospital he’s been locked away in and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, targetting teen babysitter Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and going on a killing spree Halloween night.  The guys try to figure out how Michael knows how to drive, what Dr. Loomis’ (Donald Pleasance) plan was once he got to Haddonfield, how much of a mess Annie made making popcorn to warrant taking off all her clothes, Michael’s theatricality and more.  Sync up a copy of the movie with the commentary below and watch this slasher classic with the Everything Action crew.
