Musical Montage: Post Malone ft Swae Lee “Sunflower”

The hype level for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is at a fever pitch but it’s finally out this Friday.  Garnering massive critical acclaim, many critics are saying it’s possibly the best superhero movie of the year and one of the best movies of the year, period.  Featuring the big screen debut of Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), Spider-Verse finds multiple Spider-Men from across the multiverse coming together to stop a threat that could destroy everything.  The full soundtrack album drops with the movie on the 14th but the first song off of it, “Sunflower” has been out since October from Post Malone, featuring Swae Lee.  The song itself is fine but the music video is actually very cool as it doesn’t just use clips from the movie but instead uses Spider-Verse’s distinctive visual style to display the lyrics in comic book style text boxes and other ways throughout.  Check it out below.
