The Horrors of the Pet Semetary Are Unleashed This April (Trailer)

Stephen King has arguably never been hotter as excellent adaptations of his work have hit the big and small screens over the last few years (except The Dark Tower, yeesh) and hopefully the trend continues this spring with the new Pet Semetary.  Jason Clarke stars as Dr. Louis Creed, who moves his family to a seemingly idyllic rural community in Maine but they soon discover an eerie and disturbing local legend in the woods behind their house, the Pet Semetary.  Their new neighbor Jud Crandall (John Lithgow) gives them the rundown of the legend and Dr. Creed soon attempts to use the Pet Semetary’s ability to bring thing back to life when tragedy strikes the family.  It seems like this new movie is changing things pretty significantly from the book and original movie as far as who is brought back via the Semetary but it still looks suitably creepy and disturbing.  It’s coming from Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer, who directed the well recieved horror movie Starry Eyes back in 2014.  Pet Semetary arrives on April 5th and you can check out the new trailer below.
