Sonic Arrives From Your Nightmares into Live Action (Trailer)

After some truly baffling posters and leaked marketing material, the first trailer for the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog is finally here and…wow.  Ben Schwartz is voicing Sonic, who seems to be living in secret in the Pacific Northwest of the US near the town of Green Hills.  Sonic causes an EMP that blows out the power grid and draw the attention of the US government and their expert, Dr Ivo Robotnik (Jim Carrey) who are looking to find Sonic and harness his power, or maybe just kill him.  James Marsden also co-stars as the local sheriff of Green Hills who teams with Sonic.  From Sonic’s CG to the use of “Gangsta’s Paradise” to Jim Carrey’s 90s throwback performance, this movie looks like steaming hot mess.  It’s out on November 8th and you can check out the trailer below.
