I actually just watched it (with Rifftrax) this past weekend and was surprised to see the Cannon logo come up because it’s not on Wikipedia’s list of Cannon films.

Great list! Obviously Chuck’s number one because, well – you don’t insult Chuck! I’m in the “Cobra is great” crowd as well because the number of the brauva scenes is very high.

Ninja movies were plentiful because you could put fat, slow, old white guys in a complete head scarf mask and they’d drop inches, pounds, and fight like the wind!

And Van Damme’s movies were pretty formulaic: Explain the French accent (New Orleans, French Foreign Legion, etc.), Get beat up doing by nemesis while using “wind up punches” and “ballet kicks”, undergo “special training”, then beat the bad guy with the exact same awful “fighting” style you lost with!

It’s too bad cannon didn’t put out “Roadhouse” – it just belongs here.

I just wanted you and your readers to know that the premiere of the Tintin movie will be the 26th October in Belgium (Europe) and the 23th of December in the United States. I don´t know exactly why they decided to show the movie first in Europe and then in the US but that’s the way it is. I also heard that a Tintin game will be released at the same time as the movie. I am really excited to see what Spielberg made with one of my greatest heroes. Best regards Andres Wolf

I just finished watching the season finale of Hawaii 5-0 and I came to the same conclusion. This is the new 24 but a pale imitation. Although I must say, I love the casting of Jean Smart as the *spoiler* corrupt governor who was married to a corrupt president on 24. We even had the cliffhanger ending to this season. Until I can catch Jack Bauer in action on the big screen, I guess 5-0 will have to do for my 24 fix.
