The soundtracks for Cars and Cars 2 both featured cover songs as their main singles, with Rascal Flatts covering “Life is a Highway” and Weezer covering The Cars’ “You Might Think”.

Pixar is moving on from the critical panning of Cars 2 and released the teaser for their next movie, Brave, coming out in summer 2012 and follows the adventures of Irish princess Merida.
Even though it was the first “rotten” Pixar movie, Cars 2 took the top spot at the box office this weekend, followed by a surprisingly strong Bad Teacher.
