The X-Men franchise comes to an underwhelming finale (according to critics) with Dark Phoenix this weekend while Secret Life of Pets 2 and Late Night also arrive in theaters.
Four new movies arrive in theaters this weekend but none of them, even the much hyped A Wrinkle in Time, are fresh according to critics.
Sandra Bullock is Debbie Ocean, sister to con artist/thief Danny Ocean, who assembles a crew after getting out of jail to pull off the heist of a $150 million necklace at the luxurious, and heavily guarded, Met Gala in New York City.
Mallrats 2 is now a TV series, John Boyega joins Pacific Rim 2, Suicide Squad is officially rated, Superman will appear on Supergirl Season 2 and much more in this week’s News Shotgun.
Both of this weekend’s new release have gotten tons of praise from critics, especially Inside Out, which is apparently a return to form for Pixar.
Pixar’s latest movie reveals there’s a team of five emotions controlling everyone’s thoughts and action but a young girl’s emotions for Joy and Sadness go missing, throwing her personality completely out of whack.
Pixar is going inside the body of an 11 year old girl for their next movie, Inside Out, to follow the personifications of her emotions, including Joy (Amy Poehler) and Fear (Bill Hader), and how they control things in the brain.
