Not too much news this week but we did find out about the massive 10 disc Avengers pack that will be out in September along with the major DC superhero who will come out of the closet and a new Treasure Island movie from Guy Ritchie is in the works.

Shocking no one, The Artist took home most of the big awards including Best Actor, Best Director and Best Picture while Hugo racked up a bunch of technical awards.
The Oscar nominations were announced this morning and they were not very exciting as the voters seemed to go with the safe and conservative picks and there were some major snubs.

Despite a bunch of hype but horrible reviews, Sucker Punch got beat at the box office by the second Wimpy Kid movie, Rodrick Rules.
It was a pretty slow weekend at the box office with Limitless taking the top spot at the box office.
