A bunch of Oscar nominees are coming to Blu Ray and DVD this week including Pick of the Week, The Adventures of Tintin.

Liam Neeson continues his string of early year action hits with The Grey easily taking the number one spot at the box office this weekend.

The Oscar nominations were announced this morning and they were not very exciting as the voters seemed to go with the safe and conservative picks and there were some major snubs.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol stayed at the top of the box office over the weekend while New Year’s Eve got a slight bump from it’s namesake holiday.

Sherlock Holmes 2 managed to take the top spot at the box office this weekend, but underperformed compared to the original while MI4 is off to a great start with it’s limited IMAX debut.

With literally no new movies, Twilight maintained it’s spot at #1 over the weekend while The Descendants is steadily gaining more theaters and moving up the top ten.

A trio of family films debuted over the Thanksgiving weekend and while Muppets came the closest, none of them were able to beat Breaking Dawn Part 2 at the box office.

The only question this weekend regarding the weekend box office was how much money was Breaking Dawn going to make? The answer, a lot.
