The 90th Academy Awards are this weekend but the only awards that actually matter are our Kick Ass Awards, celebrating the best and worst of the previous year, including the Ass Kicker of the Year and the Kick Ass Movie of 2017.

Spider-Man: Homecoming had a gigantic opening weekend, with the 2nd best opening for a Spider-Man movie and the seventh best opening for the MCU at $117 million.
Despicable Me 3 took the top spot at the box office but was down from the two prior movies in the series while Baby Driver outperformed expectations and The House bombed.
Transfomers: The Last Knight is the only big new release this weekend and it’s apparently about as bad as you expect it to be.
Summer 2017 is in full swing in June with action blockbusters like Wonder Woman, Transformers: The Last Knight and The Mummy, animated blockbusters Captain Underpants and Cars 3 and comedy blockbusters like Rough Night and The House.
