Battle at the Box Office 3/21

It was a pretty weak weekend at the box office this weekend, especially compared to last year at this time when Alice in Wonderland was inexplicably doing gangbusters.  Limitless took the number one spot with $19 million and bumped last week’s number one, Battle: Los Angeles, down to third with $14.6 million.  Rango held steady at number two with $15.3 million.  The other two new releases battled for fourth and fifth and The Lincoln Lawyer took the fourth spot, with Paul rounding out out the top five at fifth.  Both Red Riding Hood and The Adjustment Bureau fell pretty hard from their spots last week with Red Riding going to sixth with $7.3 million and Adjustment going to seventh.  Mars Needs Moms, Beastly and Hall Pass rounded out the top ten.  This coming weekend we’ll see if Zack Snyder can continue his domination of late March with his latest release, Sucker Punch.
