Hugo Trailer

This week’s Trailerpalooza continues with the trailer for Martin Scorsese’s first attempt at a family movie with Hugo. Based on the book, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, the movie follows young Hugo, whose father has a mysterious robot that once belonged to a magician. Before they can figure out the robot’s mysteries, Hugo’s father dies in a fire and Hugo runs away and hides out in the local train station where he meets a girl and has to dodge an incompetent security guard. The movie stars Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Sasha Baron Cohen, Jude Law and Ben Kingsley and is out this November. My feeling after watching the trailer is that if Scorsese wasn’t involved in this than people wouldn’t care one or another about it because it just seems like the seemingly endless other movies based on kid’s books like Percy Jackson, Spiderwick Chronicles, Golden Compass, Lemony Snicket, etc. You can check out the trailer below.
