Casa De Mi Padre Trailer

Easily the most bizarre comedy coming out in the early part of 2012 is Will Ferrell’s Casa De Mi Padre, which stars Ferrell as Armando Alvarez, a Mexican rancher taking care of his father’s ranch.  Armando’s brother, Raul, and his fiance, Sonia, arrive at the ranch with Raul claiming that his business will be able to pay off the ranch’s debts.  Things get complicated when Armando fall for Sonia and Raul running afoul of powerful Mexican crime lord Onza.  The movie will be almost completely in Spanish and in the style of all the super dramatic telenovelas The Soup is fond of highlighting. Those telenovelas are ripe for parody and Will Ferrell acting super dramatic in Spanish has to be comedy gold.  Also, Nick Offerman.  The movie is out in March and you can check out the trailer below.
